Keyboard and mouse don’t need USB 2. I removed the hub, plugged in the keyboard directly and logged in – then repeatedly inserted and removed the hub: I’ve had one of these for a couple of months. It would seem something in the hub is emulating a keyboard.

I keep seeing these in Poundland in recent months signslex am quite naturally reluctant to believe what the packing says – especially when I see stickers over the top! Unless you own every printer around and can vouch that they all require usb 2. Signalex USB hub possibly containing malware?! So they might be falsely stating 2.
But if I lived closer I would take them back.
